Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking compassionate, dependable, and experienced Caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home support for a client in Dyer, IN . This opportunity may be a great fit for experienced Caregivers, CNAs, HHAs, PCAs, Home Care Aides, Personal Care Assistants, Direct Care Workers, and Private Duty Caregivers who are looking for consistent part-time hours. Responsibilities Assist with Hoyer lift transfers and mobility needs. Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and assistance with eating as needed. Provide medication reminders. Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and dishes related to the client’s care. Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction. Observe and report changes in the client’s condition or needs. Use our mobile app to clock in and out and complete required care documentation. Qualifications Previous caregiving experience in home care, private duty care, assisted living, senior care, direct care, or a similar setting . 2+ years of caregiving experience preferred. Experience as a CNA, HHA, PCA, Home Care Aide, Personal Care Assistant, or similar caregiving role is welcome. CNA or HHA certification is not required for this position. Hoyer lift experience is strongly preferred. Client-specific training may be provided when appropriate. High school diploma or GED. Reliable transportation. Ability to successfully complete a required national background screening . Current TB documentation and CPR certification required . Dependable, professional, compassionate, and able to follow an individualized care plan.
