CNC Machinist

Overview Join our dynamic team as a CNC Machinist at our state-of-the-art facility located in Wyoming, IL, 61491. We are looking for a skilled professional who is passionate about precision machining and has a strong understanding of CNC operations. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC mills (3-4 axis VMC) using Fanuc, ProtoTRAK, and Okuma machinery. Interpret and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure product specifications are met. Program CNC machines using G-Code and M-Code for optimal performance and efficiency. Utilize CNC tooling effectively to produce high-quality parts and components. Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on CNC equipment to minimize downtime. Employ manual machining skills to assist in complex setups and repairs as needed. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance product quality. Qualifications Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a strong understanding of CNC programming. Expertise in GD&T and its application in machining processes. Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve machine issues effectively. Proficient in G-Code and M-Code programming languages. Experience operating CNC mills, particularly 3-4 axis VMCs. Familiarity with machine brands such as Fanuc, ProtoTRAK, and Okuma. Manual machining skills are a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
