Phlebotomist - Float

Position Title Phlebotomist Float – Chantilly, VA Work Schedule Monday – Friday, scheduled hours vary between 6:00am-6:00pm and rotating Saturdays. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency may substitute work experience. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Pass a standardized color blindness test. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with reliable transportation. Minimum age 21 years. Pay & Incentives Pay Range: $17.75 - $26.00 per hour. Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
