Administrative Assistant - Genetic Counseling & High Risk Cancer Surveillance full-time/days

The Administrative Assistant provides specialized support to a team of cancer genetic counselors and advanced practice professionals (APPs) in the cancer genetic and high-risk surveillance program. Responsibilities include administrative duties required to support the program. Full-time /40 hours per week Monday - Friday Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum 1 year of administrative experience in a medical facility preferred. Previous physician office, hospital or other frontline customer contact experience in a business setting also preferred. Proficient in MS Word and PowerPoint. Skilled in MS Excel. Excellent attention to detail. Must be able to work independently and proactively. Must be able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively as part of a team in a busy clinical practice.
