Physician - Cardiology - Non-Invasive

Job Details:

• Locum to Perm opportunity providing non-invasive cardiology coverage beginning September 12 and ongoing
• Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM outpatient clinic schedule
• Manage inpatient consults with an average of 2-3 hospital consults per day
• See an average of 16-20 clinic patients per day in an outpatient setting (90% outpatient / 10% inpatient)
• Perform cardiac testing interpretations including TEEs, loop recorders, echocardiograms, nuclear stress tests, EKGs, tilt tables, and event monitors
• Provide management of ICDs and pacemakers
• After-hours phone/beeper call required with approximately 10 call days per month covering office and ER phone calls only
• Collaborate with APP staff as part of the care team
• Patient population is 100% adults aged 18 and above
• Documentation via Epic EMR
• Active Ohio medical license required
• Board Certification in General Cardiology required
• BLS certification required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 60 days
• Rental car reimbursement provided for travel

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
