Job Summary and Qualifications The Emergency Department Manager is responsible for the supervision, coordination and evaluation of nursing care provided on the assigned unit(s). The Manager also coordinates and supervises the activities for the unit, which supports the safe and efficient delivery of care. The Manager assists the Admin Department Director in the implementation of Performance Improvement activities, hospital policies/procedures and in the financial management of the Unit. What qualifications you will need: Texas State RN license or compact license required. BSN required. BLS and ACLS required by AHA or ARC. PALS or ENPC required within 90 days of hire. TNCC required within 18 months of hire. Advanced specialty certification (i.e. CEN) encouraged.
