Opto-Mechanical Engineer Semiconductor R&D About the job Opto-Mechanical Engineer Semiconductor R&D About the Role We are looking for an experienced Opto-Mechanical Engineer to join a leading team in the semiconductor and precision optics industry . In this role, you will design, test, and launch next-generation metrology and precision optical systems , working with lasers, optics, fiber optics, and advanced mechanical assemblies. What Youll Do Design and develop precision opto-mechanical systems. Lead projects from concept and prototype through to production. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams in optics, lasers, and electronics. What Were Looking For BS in Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, or related field (MS/PhD preferred). 7+ years of experience in precision mechanical or opto-mechanical design. Background in kinematic design, vacuum systems, adhesives, or precision machining. Experience with lasers, interferometers, or optical systems strongly desired. Familiarity with optical design software (Zemax, FRED) a plus.
