Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in a 16-bed ICU with additional procedural beds, maintaining 1:2 or 1:1 patient-nurse ratios for high acuity patients.
• Facilitate care for patients with cardiovascular, trauma, neurosurgical, and other intensive care needs, ensuring adherence to care protocols.
• Titrate and manage various medication drips including Epi, norepi, propofol, and others as needed.
• Collaborate with intensivists and support personnel to deliver cohesive patient care 24/7.
• Read and document patient rhythm strips using GE telemetry monitors independently.
• Adapt to floating between SICU and MICU or taking on patient observer roles within the hospital when necessary.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing with relevant state authorities.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. TNCC certification preferred.
• Experience with ICU settings and high acuity patient care, including cardiovascular and postoperative management.
• Competency in managing and titrating various critical care drips as per facility standards.
• Ability to work every other weekend and holiday as part of the team requirements.
• Proficiency with Cerner charting system and completion of necessary orientation/training requirements.
