Aerospace Production Manager
Company Overview We are an industry leader supplying high-performance engineered components—including precision bearings, mechanical seals, gears, and electrical assemblies—to major commercial, regional, business, and military aerospace markets for engine, flight control, landing gear, and airframe applications.
Responsibilities
- Lead and direct a manufacturing seal/components production team of Associates and Leads.
- Monitor SQDC metrics (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) and take immediate action to hit goals.
- Drive hands-on shop floor leadership with a strong background in AS9100, CNC machining, manufacturing engineering, and aerospace OEM environments.
- Spearhead lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement tools (including 80/20 principles) to reduce lead times and cut costs.
- Champion quality initiatives, support the AS9100 Quality Management System, and lead safety improvement projects.
- Oversee performance management, employee development, and cross-functional skill building.
