Business Operations Coordinator
$18 - $20 per hourOntario Trillium Foundation
We're looking for someone who likes to get things done. Think of this role as the air traffic controller for our team. There are always projects to organize, events to coordinate, schedules to manage, problems to solve, and opportunities to improve. We need someone who enjoys bringing order to the chaos and helping the business run better every day. This isn't a desk job, this is hands on operations - in the trucks and in the field at events with clients and customers. Some days you'll be in the office organizing projects, coordinating schedules, and supporting the leader team. Other days you'll be interviewing new candidates, visiting events, loading ice or helping our krew in the field. No two days are the same—and that's one of the best parts of the job. What You'll Do Keep the Business Moving: Organize units, schedules, and priorities. Coordinate calendars, krew questions, and follow-up tasks. Support the owners with day-to-day operations and special projects. Keep projects on track and make sure details don't fall through the cracks. Look for better, more efficient ways to do things. Support the Team: Visit Kona Ice, Travelin' Tom's & Beverly Ann’s units throughout Central Texas. Jump in wherever needed to help create a great customer experience. Be willing to wear different hats Who You Are: We're looking for a doer . You don't wait for someone to tell you every next step. You notice what needs attention and you take care of it. You don't create more work—you remove work from other people's plates. When you don't know how to do something, you figure it out. You research it, learn it, ask thoughtful questions when needed, and move forward. You're organized without being rigid. You can juggle several priorities, keep people informed, and stay calm when things get busy. Technology doesn't intimidate you. You're comfortable using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and learning new systems. You don't need to know every platform or every piece of software, but you should be confident learning new tools and using technology to work smarter. Most importantly, you're dependable. If you say you're going to do something, it gets done. You don't have to have a college degree. We're much more interested in how you work than where you went to school. We'd rather hire someone with a strong work ethic, real-world experience, and a willingness to learn than someone with a great resume who waits to be told what to do. What We're Looking For Experience in an operations, customer service, hospitality, retail management, or similar role. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and follow-through. Comfortable using Google Workspace and Microsoft Office. Able to learn new technology quickly. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Comfortable working both in the office and out in the community. What You Can Expect From Us We're looking for someone who shows up, works hard, takes ownership, and earns trust. If you work hard, take ownership, and consistently deliver, you'll earn greater responsibility, opportunities, and compensation. Schedule & Compensation Full-time Weekends are regularly required Office located in West, Texas, 15 minutes North of Waco, TX. Combination of operations and onsite event management Starting pay: $18–20/hour , depending on experience. Performance reviews with opportunities for increased responsibility and compensation based on performance. Requirements Highly organized and detail oriented Valid driver’s license with good driving record Company Information Since 2017, we've grown from one Kona Ice truck into three locally owned brands proudly serving schools, businesses, churches, nonprofits, neighborhoods, and events throughout Central Texas. Along the way, we've helped local organizations raise more than $1.5 million through fundraising, and we're just getting started. Kona Ice is a fun, always changing work environment. We are a mobile vendor so your office moves. You are out in the community meeting new people everyday. You get to be part of a growing franchise and learn what it is like to be an entrepreneur. #J-18808-Ljbffr Ontario Trillium Foundation
