Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, with occasional Saturday shifts 1-2 times per month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
• Monitor patients recovering from conscious sedation and general anesthesia with precision and compassion
• Collaborate with interventional radiologists during body IR procedures including chemoembolization, Y-90 treatments, and vascular access
• Support patients through CT and ultrasound-guided biopsies, ablations, and other minimally invasive interventions
• Maintain detailed documentation using Cerner EMR while ensuring seamless patient handoffs
• Serve as a vital member of a Level I trauma center's radiology team delivering exceptional care

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona or compact state license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PALS certification preferred
• Level I trauma experience required
• Pre-op/PACU or ICU experience with interventional radiology exposure strongly preferred
• Cerner EMR experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment skills for pre and post-procedural patients
• Comfort managing patients on vents and telemetry monitoring
• Excellent communication with multidisciplinary teams including IR techs and physicians
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced radiology environment
• Knowledge of body IR procedures and conscious sedation protocols
