Heavy Haul Driver Location: Andover, NY Job Type: Full-Time Job Description: We are seeking skilled and experienced Heavy Haul Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transporting oversized and overweight loads safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: * Safely operate heavy haul trucks to transport oversized and overweight loads. * Plan and execute routes that comply with state and federal regulations. * Secure loads properly to ensure safe transportation. * Perform routine inspections and maintenance of the truck. * Maintain accurate logs and records of cargo, routes, and hours of service. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members. * Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner. Requirements: * Minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy haul transportation. * Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements. * Strong knowledge of state and federal transportation regulations. * Ability to operate and maintain heavy haul equipment. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Must be comfortable being away from home for extended periods, including trips longer than one week.
