Assistant Coach - Special Teams

Position Title Assistant Coach – Special Teams Department Athletics Football Office – 273500 Location North Carolina, US Key Responsibilities Assist the head coach with all aspects of the Football Program including practice, competition activities, player skill development, recruiting, directing and implementing plans for daily practices and competitions, organizing and administering clinics, etc. Perform overall administrative tasks within the operation of the program. Demonstrate integrity, leadership, a strong commitment and ability to motivate, teach, counsel and recruit academically qualified students. Minimum Education And Experience Requirements Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent). At least 1 year of experience in relevant independent instructional or educational activities. Required Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience 2-5 years of coaching experience in an intercollegiate environment, preferably at a Division I level. Knowledge of and familiarity with NCAA rules and regulations. Good organizational, interpersonal communication and computer skills. Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience Prefer at least 1 year in relevant independent or educational activities. Special Physical / Mental Requirements Must be able to lift and move 25 lbs or greater. May be required to navigate stairs and work in extreme weather conditions. Must manage a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment and be willing to travel. Campus Security Authority Responsibilities This position is designated as a Campus Security Authority in accordance with the Clery Act.
