Supported Employment & Education Specialist (SEE) – Navigate ProgramSouth County Mental Health Center, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and motivated Supported Employment & Education Specialist (SEE) to join our Navigate Program. This position helps individuals with mental illness achieve meaningful educational and employment goals by providing individualized vocational support, job development, educational guidance, and ongoing follow-along services using the Supported Employment and Education (SEE) model.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Social Science from an accredited college or universityMinimum one (1) year of experience working with individuals with mental illnessStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational and time management abilitiesAbility to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary teamPreferred Qualifications:Master's degree in Social Science or a related fieldThree (3) years of experience working with individuals with mental illnessExperience in supported employment, vocational rehabilitation, or educational counselingKnowledge of community employment resources and post-secondary educational systemsDuties and Responsibilities Supported Employment & Education ServicesHelp clients develop and achieve individualized employment and educational goalsConduct comprehensive vocational and educational assessmentsAssist clients with obtaining competitive employment and enrolling in educational programsDevelop relationships with community employers and educational institutionsProvide ongoing follow-along support to promote long-term success in employment and educationCommunity Outreach & Job DevelopmentConduct outreach to employers and educational providers to expand opportunities for clientsAdvocate for clients seeking competitive employment and educational advancementConnect clients with community resources that support vocational and educational successTreatment Planning & DocumentationParticipate in collaborative treatment planning with the interdisciplinary care teamComplete routine assessments and maintain accurate, timely documentationAttend weekly team meetings and participate in regular clinical supervisionComplete required staff development and training activitiesAdditional DutiesPerform other duties and special projects as assignedCore CompetenciesKnowledge of supported employment and education principlesStrong counseling and client engagement skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesJob development and community networking skillsAssessment and treatment planning experienceStrong organizational, documentation, and time management skillsUnderstanding of confidentiality laws, client rights, and ethical standardsFamiliarity with the Baker Act, Marchman Act, and behavioral health servicesPhysical DemandsCombination of office-based work and community outreachFrequent computer use, documentation, and travel within the communityAbility to visit employers, educational institutions, and client locations as neededWorking ConditionsBehavioral health and community-based service environmentRegular travel to meet with clients, employers, schools, and community partnersOSHA Class III work environmentPerformance Standards Performance will be evaluated based on:Success in helping clients achieve employment and educational goalsTimeliness and accuracy of documentation and assessmentsDevelopment of employer and educational partnershipsClient engagement and satisfactionCompliance with agency policies and Supported Employment & Education best practicesEffective collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment teamSchedule & Work Details Part-Time Position Schedule: 30 hours a week Location: In-person (Delray Beach, FL) Pay: $22 per hour Benefits We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:Health, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offLife and long-term disability coverageVoluntary benefit options401(k) with employer matchAdditional Information Background check required Drug-free workplace Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE)
