About Us

We are a therapist-owned pediatric therapy practice providing occupational, physical, and speech therapy services to children and families throughout Maryland. Our practice was founded by two clinicians who wanted to create the kind of workplace we wished existed—one where clinicians feel supported, families feel cared for, and children are given the space to learn and grow through meaningful, play-based therapy.

As we continue to grow, we are excited to be opening our second location in Columbia, Maryland on October 19, 2026, and are looking for a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our new Columbia team.

Our approach is play-based, child-led, and grounded in respect for each child as a whole person. We value collaboration, clinical autonomy, flexibility, and creating an environment where therapists genuinely enjoy coming to work.

About the Position

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who is excited to help us grow our new Columbia location. This is a W-2 hourly position with the flexibility to work as many or as few hours as desired, making it a great fit for someone looking for anything from a small supplemental caseload to a full-time schedule.

Because Columbia is a brand-new location, caseloads will grow over time. During the initial growth period, therapists who would like additional hours may have the opportunity to split their schedule between our Columbia and Gaithersburg locations, with the ultimate goal of transitioning their caseload entirely to Columbia as the office grows.

What You'll Do

• Provide individualized pediatric occupational therapy evaluations and treatment in our outpatient clinic.

• Develop functional, family-centered goals based on each child's individual needs.

• Provide play-based, child-led, evidence-based interventions within a respect-based framework.

• Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support carryover outside of therapy.

• Complete documentation and plans of care in accordance with professional and insurance requirements.

• Collaborate with our occupational, physical, and speech therapy teams to provide comprehensive care.

• Build positive, supportive relationships with children and their families.

• Participate in team collaboration and contribute to the growth and culture of our new Columbia office.

Schedule

Approximately 10–40 hours per week, based on your preference and availability.

We welcome applicants looking for part-time, full-time, after-school/evening, or supplemental hours.

Initially, therapists seeking more hours may have the option to work between our Columbia and Gaithersburg offices while the Columbia caseload builds. Our goal is for this position to ultimately be based entirely out of the Columbia location.

Requirements

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy

• Current or eligible Maryland Occupational Therapy license

• CPR certification preferred

• Pediatric experience preferred, but new graduates with a strong interest in pediatrics are encouraged to apply

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A collaborative, compassionate, and child-centered approach to care
