Data Aquisition/Data Lake Product owner

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Data Acquisition/Data Lake Product Owner to join their team. As a Data Acquisition/Data Lake Product Owner, you will be part of the Data Management Department supporting Data Engineering and Analytics teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $76

What's the Job?

• Own and drive the vision, roadmap, and delivery of data acquisition and data lake capabilities.
• Understand and manage end-to-end data lifecycle, including ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption.
• Partner closely with engineering, architecture, analytics, and business teams to ensure alignment and successful execution.
• Proactively identify dependencies, risks, and optimization opportunities across data pipelines.
• Ensure strong governance, data quality, and lineage tracking across the ecosystem.

What's Needed?

• Strong understanding of enterprise data ecosystems, including data pipelines, APIs, and distributed data architecture.
• Ability to analyze and work directly with data using SQL and other analytical tools to validate and inform decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to drive data-driven, informed decision-making through deep understanding of data analytics concepts and practices.
• Clear ownership mindset with a reputation for reliability, proactive communication, and follow-through.
• Solid judgment, curiosity, and problem-solving ability in complex data environments.
