General Assembly

We are hiring General Assembly Associates to join a manufacturing team building industrial door products. Assemble components, using hand and power tools, and accurately reading a tape measure.

General Assembly Details:

Temp-to-Hire position
$ 17.00 / hour
Full Time work available
First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 02:30pm)

Assemble door panels, tracks, and hardware using tools and work instructions
Read and use a tape measure accurately (including fractions)
Use hand and power tools such as drills, rivet guns, and screw guns
Ensure proper alignment, fit, and function of products
Perform basic quality checks to meet standards
Measure and prepare materials for assembly
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals

General Assembly Qualifications:

1–2 years of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
Must be able to read a tape measure accurately
Experience using hand and power tools
Ability to follow instructions and work at a steady pace
Strong attention to detail and quality
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Stand for most of the shift Lift up to 50 lbs (with assistance as needed)
Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and repetitive motion
Comfortable working in temperatures ranging from 50°F to 110°F
