Real Estate Development Project Manager

We are seeking a motivated and accountable Construction Project Manager to oversee both new home construction and renovation projects from start to finish. This role is field-focused, requiring daily site visits and hands-on coordination, but also includes essential administrative responsibilities such as purchase order entry and schedule tracking. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of ensuring that projects are completed on time, on budget, and to company standards.Compensation:$80,000 - $100,000 yearlyResponsibilities:Project Oversight & Field ManagementManage day-to-day operations of assigned new construction and renovation projectsCoordinate trade partners, inspectors, and vendors to ensure timely progressConduct regular jobsite walks to monitor quality, progress, and safetyEnsure homes are built according to approved plans, specifications, and code requirementsIdentify and resolve field issues quickly and efficientlyScheduling & Budget ControlMaintain and update project schedules weeklyTrack milestones and critical path activities to prevent delaysManage project budgets in coordination with leadershipMonitor trade performance and material costs to ensure adherence to financial targetsAdministrative ResponsibilitiesEnter and manage purchase orders prior to the start of any workEnsure accurate documentation of work performed, delays, and changesCollaborate with internal teams (Estimating, Purchasing, and Coordination) to ensure consistency in scope and executionSubmit weekly progress updates, including risks and projected completion timelinesCustomer & Team CommunicationServe as the primary field point of contact for internal teams, homeowners (when applicable), and realtorsCommunicate proactively with stakeholders about progress and any changesEnsure homeowner satisfaction by delivering high-quality finished projectsQualifications:3+ years of experience in residential construction project management (new homes and/or renovations)Strong understanding of construction methods, local codes, and permitting processesProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyProficiency with construction software and digital schedules (Microsoft Project, Buildertrend, etc., a plus)Excellent communication and problem-solving skillsDetail-oriented and disciplined in both field and administrative tasksAbout CompanyCava Companies is a local leader in the residential real estate industry and in residential rental management.
