Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an ICU unit specializing in treating complex trauma and critical care patients. Ideal candidates will have strong skills in vent management, medication titration, and line management, and must be comfortable working in a high-acuity, acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with complex trauma and critical care needs
• Manage vents, medication titration, and experience with art lines & central lines
• Respond to EKG rhythms and assess for needed interventions
• Collaborate with charge nurses and work with limited CNA assistance
• Ensure care follows the unit-specific protocols and guidelines

Qualifications

Required:

• Active IL RN license or application in process
• Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Experience with vent management, medication titration, art lines & central lines
• Understanding of EKG rhythms
• Ability to titrate all common ICU drips
• Negative drug screen for all panels

Preferred:

• Experience with CRRT and EVD/ICP monitoring
• PALS certification
