Job Summary:

Mountain Hosts serve as the welcoming ambassadors of Park City Resort, providing guests with clear, accurate, and engaging information throughout their visit. They set the benchmark for exceptional guest communication—from the moment guests arrive in the plaza, through their on‑mountain experience, and as they conclude their day and depart the resort.

Mountain Hosts are resort experts who deliver high‑quality interactions that elevate the guest experience in every environment, including the plaza, trail map areas, lift mazes, and during operational impact events. Their presence ensures guests feel supported, informed, and valued at every stage of their visit.

This is an on‑mountain, guest‑facing position.

Job Specifications:

• Starting Wage: $20.00/hr

• Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027

• Shift Type: Full Time and Part Time hours available [Full Time (4 days/week) and Part Time (3 days/week) availability]

• Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age

• Housing Availability: Yes

Job Responsibilities:

• Greet and engage guests on the Mountain, in Base Areas, Lift lines and at the Maps to provide exceptional guest service.

• Be knowledgeable on all information about the Resort, what we offer, where to find things, how to get there, programs, and services.

• Provide a presence at on-mountain map locations to provide guests with information related to grooming, open/closed trails, weather forecasts, and lift status.

• Provide tailored recommendations on terrain, ski routes, and dining options based on each guest’s stated interests.

• Perform Lift Line coordination in mazes and manage guest flow calmy and efficiently

• Ski/ride from station to station proactively looking for guests who need assistance, information, or help.

• Coordinate with other departments to provide communication to guests during

• Assist Marketing and Events with special projects.

• Assist other departments in executing exceptional guest service.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions for long periods of time.

• Ability to ski/snowboard throughout the day.

• Intermediate or better skier/snowboarder (ungroomed blues)

• Must be able to communicate fluently in English

• Strong communication skills

• Positive and enthusiastic attitude

• Knowledge of Park City Resort and local area preferred.

• Must be willing to work weekends/Holidays

The expected pay range is $20.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
