Endoscopy RN – Roles & Responsibilities

* Provided comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures.
* Performed pre-procedure assessments, patient education, and procedure preparation.
* Assisted physicians during GI procedures including EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, Bronchoscopy, and other endoscopic interventions.
* Administered and monitored moderate/conscious sedation while ensuring patient safety.
* Monitored patient vital signs, airway status, and recovery throughout all phases of care.
* Delivered post-procedure recovery care, discharge instructions, and patient/family education.
* Documented patient care accurately using Epic EMR and collaborated with the multidisciplinary team.
* Maintained infection control standards and ensured proper handling, cleaning, and maintenance of endoscopy equipment.

Job Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy RN experience.
Prior travel experience is required.
Experience with Epic EMR.
Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Willing to take call, including weekends, and report within **30 minutes** when on call.
Willing to float to sister campuses as needed.
Must comply with the 50-mile radius rule.
