Job Summary:
A registered nurse (RN) specializing in Operating Room (OR) procedures is sought for a healthcare organization in Fort Myers, Florida. The position involves working in a busy OR environment serving adult and pediatric patient populations across various surgical specialties, including ENT, vascular, endovascular, robotics, dental, gynecology, orthopedics, spine, and neurosurgery. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The role includes a 12-hour shift schedule during daytime hours, with call responsibilities.

Job Details:

• Location: Fort Myers, Florida
• Position: Operating Room RN
• Shift Hours: 12-hour days, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with call required. Call schedules can include EOS (Evening or Overnight) from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, overnight shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, or backup call from 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required, Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) preferred; Education: RN license with license number valid in Florida, Degree accreditation must be on profile or candidate must have at least 5 years of OR experience; Experience: 2 years of OR experience required, including Pediatric (PEDS) experience; Location: Must reside within 50 miles of Fort Myers, FL; Prior travel experience highly preferred.

  • Prior travel experience is highly preferred
  • Experience with adult and pediatric surgical procedures in various specialties is required
  • Floating: Floating to sister campuses may be required; travelers are first to float

  • Deadline for document submission is Monday prior to start date, with no exceptions for pending documents.
