Job Description Description SAIC is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Crane, IN.Key Responsibilities:Conduct design reviews to assess the functionality and performance of defense electronic systems and ensure adherence to operational requirementsCollaborate on system integration activities to ensure seamless adoption of new or modernized systems into the existing architectureLead engineering investigations to analyze and resolve issues impacting system performance in the fieldDevelop and implement engineering change proposals (ECPs) to improve and modernize legacy systems for optimal efficiency and performanceAssess obsolescence risks of existing components and systems; provide innovative and cost-effective solutions to extend their lifecycleWork closely with a multifunctional fleet support team to address and resolve complex challenges encountered in fielded systemsPerform circuit analysis and electrical testing to verify performance characteristics and functionalityMaintain accurate and detailed technical documentation associated with sustainment Qualifications Required Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and within multidisciplinary termsRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA's):Independent problem-solving ability, with demonstrated experience working through complex technical challenges autonomouslyStrong familiarity with electrical engineering principles and electronics, particularly with experience in circuit card design, analysis, or troubleshootingProven ability to apply electrical engineering theory to practical, real-world applicationsRequired Security Clearance:Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance; can start once interim is granted.
