Job Summary:

The Regional Technical Services Manager provides technical leadership and support to Craig’s Cruisers and Fun Land locations within the assigned region. This role supports location management teams, develops Technical Services staff, oversees maintenance, safety, inspections, budgets, and vendor relationships, and helps ensure consistent and efficient technical operations across the region.

Accountabilities: 

• Oversee the continual training of the Tech staff and track progress per technician. 
• Oversee the budget of the Tech departments in the region including budget training, declining budget and repair and maintenance budget. 
• Review inventories and approve parts orders for the region. 
• Travel to sites in the region quarterly or as needed. 
• Provide guidance on Capex projects for the region. 
• Oversee game payouts by maintaining proper payout for redemption and merchandise games. 
• Oversee repairs and maintenance of any resources necessary to facilitate repairs. 
• Organize and facilitate weekly and monthly meetings to review issues, challenges and goals. 
• Track and plan for yearly building and ride inspections to include but not limited to state ride inspections, non-destructive testing, and building fire extinguisher/sprinkler inspections.
• Review the P.M. programs for proper execution and documentation set forth by the manufacturer and/or company guidelines. 
• Ensure that the safety program is being followed per company guidelines. 
• Support the hiring and corrective action of the Tech staff in the region.  Conduct supporting interviews using proper HR guidelines.
• Support the RVPs in the development of the brand and tech department. 
• Bring ideas and processes to the brand to further the development and evolution of the brand. 
• Instill the core values of the Five Star Parks brand.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and leverage 3rd party vendors. 
• Create a positive safety culture ensuring safety of our employees and visitors at all times.   
• Ensure OSHA compliance and safety standards.
• Interact and communicate with employees to monitor performance, engagement, and employee development  
• Must be available to work all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able and willing to stand or walk for up to 10-hour shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Skills/ Competencies Required :

• Knowledge of how to use social media to drive sales is required: Including Linkedin, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Pintrest etc… 
• Proficient in computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel and CRM 
• Solid time management, organization and prioritization skills; ability to work with little or no direct supervision.
• Excellent customer service orientation and focus on customer satisfaction required.
• Strong leadership and people skills, plus the ability to build and foster a team environment desired.

Education, Qualifications and Experience :

• College or vocational degree/certificate preferred or 4-6 years of related experience.
• Must have a positive, engaging, and team-oriented view on the workplace. 
• Must be willing to work weekends if business dictates a need or opportunity that must be handled after Monday. 
• Valid driver’s license required.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand for long periods of time, to sit, walk, talk, read, write, climb, balance, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. May be required to lift or move objects up to 20 pounds.
