Senior Project Manager - Financial Systems Duration: 6 Months Location: New York, NY – Hybrid (3 days onsite weekly) We are seeking a seasoned Senior IT Project Manager to manage financial systems projects. The role requires strong planning, execution, stakeholder communication, and risk management skills. ASAP start date. The ideal candidate will be able to assume full individual contributor responsibilities within 30 days. Key Responsibilities Project Planning – Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, objectives, timelines, budget, and resources. Project Execution – Lead the project team to deliver activities on time, within budget, and to required quality standards. Risk Management – Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies. Stakeholder Management – Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, core team members, and the extended project team. Communication – Report progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management and sponsors. Resource Management – Manage personnel, equipment, and materials effectively. Quality Management – Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and processes are followed. Change Management – Manage scope, schedule, or budget changes with proper documentation and approval. Project Closure – Ensure all deliverables are completed and the project is closed out efficiently. Qualifications & Requirements 5‑10 years of project management experience. Experience managing finance system projects (Oracle EBS or SAP preferred). Minimum 5 full project life cycles, preferably with multinational corporations. Expertise in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Strong knowledge of Planview or equivalent project planning tools. Experience with global projects across LATAM, EMEA, and North America. Ability to engage C‑level stakeholders. PMP certification is a plus but not required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong leadership, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills. Independence, proactivity, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced dynamic environment. Interview Process First round – In person.
