Travel Radiation Therapist

American Traveler seeks a certified Radiation Therapist for a hospital-based Radiation Oncology department, requiring 1-3 years of experience treating adult cancer patients.

Job Details

• Hospital-based Radiation Oncology department within an acute care facility,
• Adult patient population with high-volume cancer sites including breast, lung, prostate, and colorectal,
• Treats approximately 10-20 patients daily,
• Uses True Beam Linear Accelerator equipment,
• Uses Aria, Medhost, and Athena for electronic medical records,
• Day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM,
• Every other weekend rotation required,
• No call requirements,
• No floating requirements,

Job Requirements

• Certified Radiation Therapist credential required,
• License required if applicable,
• 1-3 years of experience preferred,
• AHA certifications required,

Additional Information

• Deliver radiation therapy treatments to adult oncology patients across multiple high-volume cancer sites,
• Navy blue scrubs required as part of dress code,
• T-shirts and quarter-zips with facility logos are not permitted,
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays,
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be eligible for travel rate,
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible,
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
