Graphic Designer

Our retail manufacturing client is searching for a Graphic Designer to join their team. This is a part time and hybrid role in NYC. 

Duration: Ongoing; approx 25-30hrs/week 
Location: Hybrid; NYC 

Responsibilities: 

Digital Design & Content

• Create assets for website, email, paid ads, and social channels
• Design on-brand social content (static, carousel, Stories, Reels)
• Build and maintain ad templates for Meta, Google, and retail media
• Support e-commerce with PDP images, banners, and homepage visuals

Video & Motion

• Edit and resize video content for multiple platforms
• Assist with content capture and post-production for campaigns

Image Retouching

• Retouch product images (color correction, cleanup, skin refinement)
• Ensure consistent visual style across imagery
• Organize and manage digital asset libraries

AI & Creative Tools

• Leverage AI tools (e.g., Adobe Firefly, Canva AI) to scale production
• Help develop best practices for AI-assisted design workflows
• Stay current on new tools and trends

Brand & Cross-Channel Support

• Maintain brand consistency across digital, print, and in-store
• Assist with print materials and UI/e-commerce design projects
• Contribute fresh ideas inspired by fashion and lifestyle trends

Qualifications: 

• 1-2 years of graphic/digital design experience or strong portfolio
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; Premiere/After Effects a plus)
• Experience with Figma for UI and web design
• Strong understanding of layout, typography, and visual storytelling
• Experience designing for social, email, and e-commerce platforms
• Familiarity with AI design tools and workflows
• Detail-oriented with strong organization and multitasking skills
• Interest in fashion, beauty, or lifestyle branding

Nice to Have

• Motion graphics experience (After Effects)
• Shopify or e-commerce platform familiarity
• UX/UI or product design experience
• Photography or on-set experience
• Interest in sustainability, wellness, or body positivity
