Electromechanical Technician - 3rd Shift

**ELECTROMECHNICAL TECHNICIAN - 3RD SHIFT - CARROLLTON, TX*** ## **3rd Shift = 10 PM to 6:30 AM****OVERVIEW:**The Electromechanical Technician will support the operation and maintenance of automated equipment in a food manufacturing facility. This role is essential for ensuring continuous, safe, and efficient production. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of electrical and mechanical systems, including conveyors, packaging equipment, and automated machinery. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.## **WHAT YOU'LL DO:*** Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on electromechanical equipment, including but not limited to motors, conveyors, sensors, and PLCs.* Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential equipment malfunctions and failures, minimizing downtime.* Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation to effectively troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems.* Work closely with the production and engineering teams to understand equipment functionality and support continuous improvement initiatives.* Calibrate, adjust, and replace components on equipment to maintain operational efficiency.* Assist with the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment.* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used, in accordance with GMP and regulatory standards.* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and practices, and participate in required safety training.* Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to improve equipment reliability and plant efficiency.* Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current on industry practices, technology, and safety standards.## **WHAT YOU'LL NEED:*** High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in Electromechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field is preferred.* Minimum of 2 years of experience in electromechanical maintenance, ideally in a food or manufacturing environment.* Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems (e.g., motors, sensors, PLCs) and mechanical systems (e.g., conveyors, pumps).
