About the Role
The Company is seeking a General Counsel to be the primary legal advisor to its leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of legal matters, including commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, employment law, corporate governance, and risk management. This role requires a pragmatic, business-minded attorney with a strong background in commercial contracts, particularly in the technology services sector. The General Counsel will also be involved in building and leading a legal team, managing outside counsel, and supporting the company's international operations. Applicants for the General Counsel position at the company should have a J.D. from an accredited law school, active bar admission, and at least 8 years of legal experience, with a significant portion in an in-house technology role. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading cross-functional projects, excellent judgment, and the ability to operate with autonomy in a fast-paced environment. Experience in digital consulting, tech consulting firms, and with regulated industries such as healthcare, government, or financial services is highly valued. The role demands a professional who can balance legal rigor with commercial reality, is adept at managing legal and business risks, and is comfortable advising on a variety of legal issues, from data privacy to M&A activities.
