Schedule/Shift

Day shift with call; weekdays three days, rare weekend call from Friday night till Saturday morning at 09:00.

Job Description

The role involves first assisting in open heart surgery and harvesting veins. The patient population will primarily consist of adult patients. The surgery will take place in a CVOR setting at a community hospital and regional referral center.

Responsibilities

• Assist in open heart and vascular surgeries.
• Harvest veins as necessary for surgical procedures.
• Work closely with the surgical team to ensure successful outcomes.
• Maintain sterile environment and follow all safety protocols.

Required Experience

One year of experience in CVOR open heart surgery and vascular procedures with vein harvesting.

Certifications/Licensure

Must have certification as a first assist or qualify for a grandfathering clause.
