Site Technician

UTM Consultants are looking for a Technician responsible for carrying out statutory inspections, testing, and reporting of wind turbine-mounted cranes, service lifts, and safety equipment at wind farm sites, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and company HSEQ requirements. Key Responsibilities Perform statutory inspections of turbine-mounted cranes, service lifts, and safety equipment. Conduct visual inspections, functional testing, and fault identification. Inspect and assess lifting equipment, fall protection systems, and access equipment. Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety procedures and industry standards. Required Qualifications & Experience Mechanical or Electrical Trades Certificate. Competent person status and/or experience with crane inspections (small offshore cranes, e.g., HIAB and Palfinger). Competent person status and/or experience with wind turbine service lifts (e.g., Avanti and Skyman). WTSR training and experience as an Authorized or Competent Technician.
