The Coordinator/Expeditor is responsible for addressing material shortages in the shop, communication with the team, and ensuring accurate and timely material flows.In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:Generate reports and review on hand material status, actioning each item dailyMake recommendations for inventory adjustmentsMake recommendations for stock items and/or material status changePrioritize materials for orders and communicate status to the teamDistributes daily/weekly reports to ensure inventory accuracyAssists Supervisor with maintaining transactional system integrityHelps problem solve Receiving, Shipping, or Material Availability issuesInvestigate inventory inaccuracies and WIP transactions for validityGenerates reports or documents in support of Shipping, Receiving and InventoryMaintains documents per the Emerson record retention policyProcess material and due date changes to released work orders as neededAssists with LEAN initiatives (kanban, process improvement)WHO YOU ARE:You identify and seize new opportunities.
