Seeking an experienced professional eager to make a significant impact in a school-based setting as a Contract School Nurse. This full-time opportunity offers direct work with students and staff from August 17, 2026, through May 27, 2027, during traditional school hours, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch each day.

As a critical member of the school community, you'll play an essential role in supporting both the health and educational needs of students, especially within special education environments. Your expertise will help foster a safe and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

Desired Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license, active and in good standing
• Previous experience working in school settings (minimum a few years preferred)
• Experience collaborating within special education teams
• Strong communication, organizational, and assessment skills
• Familiarity with IEP processes and student health care planning ideal
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach tailored to working with children of diverse abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver day-to-day nursing care to students, including those with specialized medical needs
• Participate in Multi-Disciplinary and IEP meetings, contributing to individualized care planning
• Monitor, manage, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Support the development and implementation of health plans for students with disabilities
• Provide emergency care when required and document all clinical interventions
• Act as a health resource for students, families, and staff on campus
