Job Description

• Create Personalized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and devise tailored therapy strategies to help them attain their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methods to enhance patient motor skills, cognitive function, and daily activities
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Partner closely with other OTs, PTs, SLPs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, holistic patient care
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their families about therapy methods to ensure continued progress outside of sessions
• Track and Document Progress: Keep a meticulous record of clinical outcomes and tweak treatments as necessary to guide patients effectively

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Encouragement of ongoing education and advanced certifications

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT certification mandatory
