Associate Attorney Litigation

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney specializing in litigation for its Cincinnati, OH office. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in personal injury and professional liability defense, working alongside seasoned trial attorneys in a collaborative environment. Duties Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and memoranda. Manage discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery. Assist with case strategy, liability analysis, and exposure evaluation. Represent clients at depositions, hearings, and court proceedings. Support trial preparation, including witness preparation and exhibit coordination. Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and internal team members. Prepare case reports, status updates, and legal correspondence. Requirements J.D. from an accredited law school. Active Ohio Bar License (required). 3-5 years of litigation experience (insurance defense preferred). Experience with personal injury and/or professional liability matters. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Ability to manage cases with appropriate supervision. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Professional, proactive, and team-oriented approach. Education J.D. from an accredited law school. Certifications Active Ohio Bar License.
