FOH/Bar Manager - Full Time
Stationhouse Grill Mascoutah | Mascoutah, IL

Join our dynamic team at Stationhouse Grill Mascoutah as a dedicated FOH/Bar Manager . In this hands-on management role, you will work closely with our talented hospitality team to create an outstanding guest experience in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant environment. You'll not only lead the front-of-house operations but also actively participate in bartending and serving, ensuring high standards of service and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support bartenders, servers, hosts, food runners, and other FOH employees.
• Work scheduled bartending and/or serving shifts as part of the management role.
• Deliver excellent guest service and professionally resolve guest concerns.
• Maintain strong standards for speed, hospitality, cleanliness, and teamwork.
• Assist in recruiting, training, coaching, and developing FOH employees.
• Manage scheduling and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures.
• Handle cash management and end-of-shift procedures.
• Ensure bar organization, cleanliness, and proper stocking.
• Monitor liquor, beer, wine, mixers, and bar supplies.
• Control beverage costs, waste, over-pouring, and inventory.
• Ensure cocktails and drinks are prepared consistently according to recipes and standards.
• Grow bar sales through strong execution, product knowledge, and suggestive selling.
• Coordinate with kitchen management to maintain smooth service.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, responsible alcohol-service practices, and health and safety standards.
• Create a positive, accountable workplace culture.
• Lead by example during busy shifts.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant/bar management or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong bartending and beverage knowledge.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Comfortable coaching employees and holding the team accountable.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Guest-focused and sales-minded.
• Dependable and willing to work nights, weekends, holidays, and other high-volume periods.
• Must meet all applicable requirements for serving alcohol.

Schedule
Compensation and schedule will be discussed based on experience and the needs of the location.
