Schedule: Shift: 3x12 Nights

Assignment Details: Assignment length: 13 weeks Guaranteed hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks

Requirements: Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience required Required experience areas: Adult critical care and Emergency Department Required certifications: RRT, ACLS, BLS Preferred: NRP, NICU/neonatal experience Experience with ventilator management and troubleshooting, HFNC, BiPAP/CPAP, ABG interpretation, intubation assist, extubation, tracheostomy care, and aerosol/inhaled therapies Charting system: EPIC (required)

Roles & Responsibilities: Provide respiratory care to patients of various age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Implement ventilator management protocols and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Administer treatments including high-flow nasal cannula, BiPAP/CPAP, and aerosol therapies. Assist in emergency interventions such as intubation and extubation. Conduct thorough assessments and document patient responses in the electronic health record system. Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and outcomes.

Compliance / Notes: Weekend coverage required. Holiday commitment includes working 3 of the 5 major holidays. Pre-start modules required (approximately 16 hours). Parking: Facility paid. Locals are not accepted for this position.
