Overview Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR) | Travel assignment in Cumming, GA | Start 09/14/2026 | 16 weeks | $2,069–$2,187 per week | Guaranteed 40 hours per week | 8x5 day shift | Hospital OR setting Key Highlights Weekly pay: 2,069–2,187 per week Guaranteed hours: 40 per week Contract duration: 16 weeks Shift: Day shift, Monday through Friday Start date: 09/14/2026 Work setting: OR in a hospital travel assignment Responsibilities Prepare the operating room, verify equipment and supplies, and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures Scrub, circulate, and assist the surgical team during a range of cases, ensuring patient safety and timely turnover Position and transport patients as needed; monitor perioperative patient status and respond to changes promptly Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and circulator staff to support/analyze intraoperative patient care Document intraoperative events accurately and communicate deviations or concerns to the team Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and procedural checklists to maintain a safe perioperative environment Requirements Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience Certifications: AHA BLS and ACLS required Broad OR expertise with robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, gynecology, and prostate biopsy experience preferred Ability to work Monday–Friday day shift (6:45 a.m. start typical in this assignment) and to meet holiday coverage requirements Willingness to support a variety of cases and adapt to a fast‑paced perioperative setting Benefits and Support Guaranteed hours: 40 per week Weekly pay: 2,069–2,187 per week 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated assignment support throughout the travel period Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
