Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant Location: Davidson County, TN As a Staff Accountant, you would be responsible for assisting with month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes for multiple locations throughout the US. Prepare and post monthly journal entries and account reconciliations. Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Analyze financial data and investigate account variances. Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, including accruals and prepaid expenses. Support SEC reporting requirements and compliance with SOX controls. Assist with external and internal audits by providing requested schedules and documentation. Prepare financial reports and support management reporting initiatives. Ensure adherence to GAAP and company accounting policies. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to resolve accounting issues and improve processes. Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.
