Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments, utilizing evidence-based tools to formulate individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs and goals of each client.

• Provide tailored individual, group, and family counseling sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing, to facilitate healing.

• Monitor client progress closely by keeping detailed records of sessions and adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other social workers to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care for clients.

• Implement crisis intervention strategies for clients in acute distress, ensuring their safety and stability during high-stress situations.

• Stay current with research and emerging trends in mental health treatment, integrating new knowledge into practice to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily involves working with clients who are in the detoxification phase, dealing with both addiction and mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and trauma. You will engage with diverse groups, tailoring therapeutic interventions to address a wide range of challenges they face, from substance dependence to life transitions, including relationship upheaval and loss. The goal is to empower clients with coping skills and resources necessary for long-term recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid and active LCSW license in the state of Texas, or ability to obtain it.
