Vitamin/HBA Manager

The Vitamin Manager educates and coaches customers toward healthier lifestyles while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast‑paced, friendly environment at Sprouts Farmers Market. Responsibilities Provide prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable service on supplements and related products. Develop and maintain in‑depth knowledge of vitamins, supplements, health and beauty items, and guide customers accordingly. Order product and manage inventory control. Oversee sales and promotional events. Achieve sales, margin, expense, and labor goals through proper product assortment, merchandising, and inventory control to avoid out‑of‑stocks and overstocks. Collaborate with the buyer and store manager to determine inventory, regularly evaluating sales reports and market trends. Coach and develop team members via feedback and one‑on‑one discussions; recommend merit increases through the bi‑annual performance review process. Attend and participate in in‑store meetings. Recruit, hire, and make promotion/transfer decisions together with the store manager. Exercise independent judgment to address team member concerns; take corrective actions as needed, including collaboration with business and HR partners on coaching, counseling, progressive discipline, suspension, or termination. Ensure maximum productivity and efficiency by creating and adjusting schedules and staffing levels. Communicate standards, expectations, policy changes, and product knowledge to team members. Lead a team focused on delivering high‑quality products, exceptional service, and the best customer experience. Serve as a key carrier for the store or act as Manager on Duty as needed. Qualifications Minimum 18 years old with at least 1 year of vitamin, homeopathy, or holistic experience, including leadership experience. Excellent communication skills and ability to give and receive direction. Perform general housekeeping in the department, including cleaning and dusting. Adhere to all safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations. Willing to learn about new products and alternative health. Strong organization and prioritization skills. Physically able to stand, walk, bend, climb, lift, stack, and maneuver heavy objects up to 50 lbs. and move ladders, utility carts, and pallet jacks as described. Must be able to walk up to 5 miles in an 8‑hour shift. Achieve and maintain a Food Handlers permit. Work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays. Possess a working knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers, and financial goals. Display outgoing, friendly behavior and a positive attitude toward team members and customers. Pay Range The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $34.40 per hour, determined by applicable experience and qualifications. Benefits Competitive pay.
