We are looking for a self starter, self motivated individual who can learn product knowledge on Mattresses, use that knowledge and apply it to sales. We are also needing this individual to help us covert the store location over to our new branding. this will involve helping move mattresses in store, arrange new instore pop and anything else involved in changing the store over. This location was testing to be a personless store so customers can view and buy with no one in the store. The model was not producing the numbers we would like to see compared to our stores with people in them.

The Sleep Expert will offer a remarkable in-store experience by finding sleep solutions that make a positive difference and offering best-in-class products from leading manufacturers. Sleep Experts will execute Simple Home+ Mattress selling programs and support a seamless omnichannel experience to create a stimulating and engaging environment that puts the customer at the center. Your journey begins with an extensive retail sales training program that enables you to help customers design and build the sleep system of their dreams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create an environment where the customer is always at the center by cultivating solid relationships
• Provide technical and product knowledge information to customers, serve as a subject matter expert
• Drive individual sales performance and KPIs while demonstrating Company values and supporting Company initiatives
• Execute Company merchandising and marketing programs to standard
• Maintain awareness of competitor's advertisements and services offered
• Continue to develop skills, competencies, and product knowledge through assigned course work, training, and other company-led activities.
• Assist the management team in ensuring the store is merchandised correctly, and the correct sale is displayed in the store
• Follow opening and closing procedures
• Assist in processing inventory counts
• Execute company initiatives and any other activities requested by the supervisor
• Follow Company policy, execute Company standards on appearance and functionality and ensure safety regulations are followed

Qualifications:

• Minimum one year of sales experience
• High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree a plus
• 21 years of age or older
• Customer service or commission-based sales experience a plus
• Microsoft Office, including Excel product knowledge
• Familiarity with computers and ability to use POS systems
• Motivated by a pay-for-performance compensation plan

Non-Essential Responsibilities:

• Ability to push, pull or lift 50 pounds
• Ability to stand or sit for 8+ periods of time
• Execute company initiatives and any other activities requested by the supervisor
• Ability to work a flexible schedule; typical retail hours to include evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year depending on hours worked and goals earned

• 8-hour shift
• Weekend availability

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Commission sales: 2 years (Preferred)
• Retail sales: 3 years (Preferred)

Compensation:

• how the compensation works is the employee will be paid weekly on friday for the previous week and that will be $15 per hour. Then the employee will be paid a monthly bonus of up to $3 more per hour based on their goals and points earned.
