Cardiac Neuro ICU Patient Care Technician

Job Overview

As a PCT on the Cardiac Neuro ICU, you'll support nurses in caring for critically ill patients with cardiac, neurological, and complex medical needs. You'll assist with hygiene, mobility, vital signs, documentation, and provide compassionate bedside care, including support for patients nearing the end of life. Your steady presence, attention to detail, and calm approach help ensure patients receive safe, high?quality care during their most vulnerable moments.

What You'll Do

• Assist with bathing, oral care, toileting, and linens
• Support safe mobility, repositioning, and transfers
• Monitor and record vital signs
• Document patient information accurately
• This role includes exposure to bodily fluids and sensitive patient situations
• Safely lift/move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) within six months of hire
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of required PCT classes for the unit
