Position Summary As a 1099 Contract Interpreter, you will support diverse communities by delivering on‑site interpretation services in a variety of settings. Key Responsibilities Provide accurate on‑site interpretation between English and your target language Travel to client locations within a 30‑mile radius of New York City, NY Maintain professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and appropriate tone during all assignments Deliver clear and complete interpretation without omissions or additions Respond promptly to scheduled assignments and communicate effectively with clientsUphold strict confidentiality and ethical standards Provide excellent customer service in all interactions Be legally authorized to work in the United States Be willing and able to travel locally to assignments Commit to punctuality, preparation, and professionalism Languages Currently in Demand We are actively seeking interpreters for the following languages: Afar, Dari, Farsi, Karen, Kinyarwanda, Kirundi (Rundi), Kurdish, Luganda, Maji, Pashto, Portuguese, Somali, Swahili, Tigrinya, Turkish, Urdu, Vietnamese.
