We're a premier provider of high quality, cost effective, special education services in Ohio. We serve 16 public school districts in our county and more than 130 educational entities across Ohio.

Job Responsibilities

Design and provide educationally relevant speech-language therapy aligned with IEP goals. Conduct screenings (Child Find, new students, designated grades) and interpret results. Serve as case manager for identified speech-only students; prepare reports, prior written notices, EMIS coding, and other required documentation. Communicate evaluation results clearly to families and staff, both orally and in writing. Implement evidence-based treatment techniques for speech-language disorders (expressive/receptive language, voice, articulation, fluency, pragmatics, auditory/visual processing). Collaborate with teachers to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities. Document therapy progress and modify interventions as needed. Help develop educational goals that are measurable, attainable, and relevant. Participate in team meetings and comprehensive assessments to plan appropriate services. Use positive behavioral interventions to support functional skills and student independence.

Qualifications

Valid Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board license. Ohio Department of Education Pupil Services license as a school speech-language pathologist. Knowledge of evidence-based speech-language therapy techniques. Experience with IEP development, case management, and progress documentation. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Commitment to confidentiality, high performance, and professional ethics. Satisfactory fingerprinting and criminal records check results (provided for free by MCESC!)
