Commercial Finance Analyst

Location: Lakewood, CO Salary: $70,000.00 USD Annually - $90,000.00 USD Annually Description Full-Time Onsite About The Role We are seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and sales performance initiatives across the commercial organization. In this role, you will partner with Finance, Commercial, and Analytics teams to transform financial and operational data into actionable insights that support business decisions, improve forecast accuracy, and drive organizational performance. Responsibilities Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, risks, and business opportunities. Prepare reporting packages, presentations, and financial analyses for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. Support forecasting activities through data consolidation, validation, analysis, and reporting. Assist with annual budgeting processes, including budget preparation, variance analysis, and financial planning support. Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools to improve business insights and decision-making. Support sales incentive compensation calculations and administration for commercial teams. Partner with business leaders and budget owners to monitor operating expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities. Assist with month-end close activities and recurring financial reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Conduct pricing analyses and support business case development for strategic initiatives. Collaborate with Finance, Commercial, and Analytics teams on ad hoc projects and strategic business initiatives. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, financial analysis, or a related analytical role. Experience supporting financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes. Experience collaborating across functions and contributing to team-based projects. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial modeling. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to diverse audiences. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while working independently and collaboratively. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP. Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting practices. Experience using business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Experience supporting sales performance management or incentive compensation programs. Familiarity with pricing analysis and business case development.
