As a Barista you’ll play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our guests while working in a newly renovated and lively environment. Your responsibilities will include: Greet all guests according to StepStone and hotel standards, anticipate and address guests’ needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Provide quality beverages and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products. Handle closing of guest transactions in outlet and room services, close out register, and balance out cash for shift as well as keeping cash funds always secured. Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas. Bus coffee cart areas and tables. Set up, stock, and maintain work areas. Check with guests to ensure guest service and food quality are satisfactory and up to StepStone and hotel standards. Notify the manager immediately of any guest complaints. Practice and observe all safety rules and procedures. Assist all service personnel in any duties as requested. Maintain and follow all cash handling procedures. Ability to accurately use POS system. Requirements Requirements One (1) year of barista experience is a plus. Must be available to flexible shifts. Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions. Must have a knowledge of applicable Federal, state, and local health, safety, and legal regulations. Must have excellent mathematical and computer skills. High school education preferred. Relevant training and experience required. Ability to timely obtain any required licenses or certificates. CPR training and first aid training preferred. Additional language ability preferred.
