Speech Language Pathologist
MEP Health
Role: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) providing in-home, senior living, and virtual care to older adults. Responsibilities Deliver personalized speech therapy in private residences and senior communities. Conduct evaluations, develop care plans, and provide evidence-based treatments to enhance mobility, independence, and quality of life. Document patient progress accurately within electronic medical records. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PTs, OTs, and fitness specialists. Educate patients, caregivers, and staff on safety and aging-in-place strategies. Utilize telehealth to extend care access and flexibility. Qualifications & Skills Valid state licensure or eligibility in Speech Language Pathology. Degree from an accredited program; proficiency with EMR systems and basic computer skills. Current CPR certification. Physical Requirements: Ability to perform moderate physical effort, assist with patient transfers, reposition patients, and drive to care locations, wearing PPE as needed.
