Step into a rewarding part-time opportunity as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting high school students in a contract role. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active SLP license in Connecticut
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders
- Preferred experience working with high school-aged students in an educational setting
- Strong evaluation, intervention, and therapy plan development skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and positive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide speech and language services to students on the high school caseload
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress, assessments, and services
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals and generalization of skills
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility and progress discussions
- Provide direct therapy services utilizing evidence-based practices
