Valor Healthcare is looking for a passionate RN Clinic Administrator to join our team at the Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Oswego. Position Overview
\nAs a RN Clinic Administrator with Valor, you will be responsible for all operational aspects of their individual CBOC. This position is significantly tactical with the day-to-day operations of the clinic.

Core Responsibilities

- Manage day to day clinic operations, ensure clinical quality expectations are met, provide exceptional customer service and partner with the Clinic Medical Director. \n
- Ensure all colleagues provide excellent customer service to each veteran, both in person and over the phone, as well as to fellow colleagues and clinic visitors. \n
- Manage the clinic’s financial performance with specific emphasis on revenue growth through enrollment and non-personnel cost containment. \n
- Manage growth strategy of new enrollees to the clinic and expand market penetration in the clinic’s catchment area. This includes participation in various outreach events. \n
- Proactively manage veteran enrollment and retention and ensure no veteran exceeds their annual vesting visit date. \n
- Maintain staffing levels consistent with veteran enrollment, contract terms, and to ensure maximum efficiency. \n
- Review and analyze reporting, including clinical quality metrics, financial reports, staffing levels and other relevant information. \n
- Emphasize attracting, coaching, mentoring, and retaining talent through excellent communication, training, enforcing key competencies and performance management, when required. \n
- Develop and maintain a positive, collaborative working relationship with our VA partners, ensuring that the Regional Director is kept informed of any significant issues. \n
- Innovate, embrace, and support new initiatives, whether clinical or operational, and execute on key strategic initiatives that drive the success of the Valor business. \n

\n Two years healthcare management experience required; government healthcare environment preferred.\n

\n RN requirements (dependent on specific VA contract requirements):\n
\n - \n
\n Baccalaureate degree, associate degree or diploma certificate in registered nursing, graduate degree preferred.\n
\n - \n
\n Current license or certification as a registered nurse from the state in which the clinic is located.\n
\n - \n
\n Minimum four years’ experience as a registered nurse\n
\n - \n
\n Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, both in person and over the phone.\n
\n - \n
\n Ability to manage, both up and down\n
\n - \n
\n Energetic and optimistic demeanor\n
\n - \n
\n Strong service mentality and a focus on achieving all aspects of defined service standards.\n
\n - \n
\n Proficient in computer applications such as Word and Excel\n
\n - \n
\n Strong organizational skills\n
\n - \n
\n Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks and work on multiple projects/tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment without direct supervision.\n

\n Ability to identify areas of opportunity, develop a plan of action to improve, implement and evaluate plan effectively.\n

\n Ability to resolve colleague, client and patient issues in an effective and timely manner.\n
\n - \n
\n Current certification in Basic Life Support\n

\n This is considered a safety sensitive position.\n

\n Final compensation will be based on relevant factors including work experience, skills, certifications, and internal equity. \n
